Marco Lo Giudice

Marco holds a PhD in Mathematics and boasts nearly 20 years of experience in the Insurance and Reinsurance sectors. His career has developed at the intersection between industry and academia, from early attempts with the Willis Research Network to his involvement with Tokio Millennium sponsoring research projects at the University of Bath.

A pioneer in his field, Marco was instrumental in developing one of the early cyber models, addressing a critical need for effective risk management in cybersecurity. His innovative approach bridged the gap between insurance and cybersecurity, delivering a model designed to quantify both underwriting and operational risks.

Prior to joining Cyberwrite, Marco was Head of Emerging Risks at Lloyd’s, where he was instrumental at developing a cyber risk strategy centered on risk quantification and data quality.

At Cyberwrite Marco leads the Cat-Modeling team and efforts.
